Arthur A. Pilla, PhD is an acknowledged authority on bio-magnetic therapies and a true pioneer of this field with several ground breaking patents. He has been a professor at Mount Sinai and Columbia School of Medicine who has lectured on the topic internationally, and is the head of Research and Development for the Company as well as Chair of the Science & Medical Advisory Board.

Arthur Pilla received his Ph.D., cum laude, from the University of Paris, France in 1964. His first studies led to pioneering publications on models and experimental methods for the study of electrochemical relaxation processes for fuel cell and other energy applications.

Arthur Pilla commenced studies of the bioeffects of weak magnetic and electric fields in 1969. His electrochemical information transfer model (1972) led to the invention of electromagnetic fields for clinical use.

The first clinical trials on non-union fractures (1977) showed that approximately 75% of the non-unions could be salvaged non-invasively and non- surgically.

Since these early studies, hundreds of thousands of non-union and delayed union bone fractures have been treated worldwide, with approximately the same 75% success rate.
